Hey lady! I made your peach cobbler tonight! DH just polished off two huge bowls topped with vanilla ice cream! ha It is very good! I really like the brown sugar in the batter. My old recipe for batter peach cobbler (as opposed to the crust kind which I normally make) is not nearly as good as this one with that addition.

I used more peaches, a larger roasting/baking pan and doubled the batter recipe. Yummers!

I'll be using this one from now on when I don't want to make and roll out crust. Thanks for sharing! smileys/smile.gif

After his 4th bowl he went to bed....not sure how happy he will be when he awakens in the .....

night SICK! lol I couldn't believe he pigged out like that! (Did I say he ate a huge scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of each bowl?!) But then, I haven't baked anything in a long time so he appreciated such a great tasting treat!

Those recipes given us by long gone loved ones are very special. I will think of your friend when I make it, too.

It's a definite keeper!

Now I have to try this. I picked a nice bowl of strawberries last night. I think I will throw

those in the mix with peaches and some of my rhubarb too. A crazy mixed up combination, but it's just gotta be good.
