next week. just found out the guest of honor needs gluten free foods. must look for GF pretzels.

I really wanted to make this for something different.

sis and I have been trying gluten-free recipes for her new dau-in-law

The animal cookies are REALLY good and we've been crushing those to make the crust for cheesecakes and pies. There's a line of products - don't remember the name.... something Pantry... that comes in cute boxes with a green? and white striped "awning" at the top. Very good products.

Gluten Free Girl (my *now* trusted source of GOOD gluten-free products) recommends the pretzels from Ener-G. She bought them at Fred Meyers.

Good luck!

thanks cheezz. I follow that blog too, but haven't ahd a chance to look up those products yet.

looks like I have some easy substitutions to make the dish. I'll add some softened rhubarb to the fruit mix too, cuz it's from my garden, and I might have a few strawberries to throw in that my dog might leave me. she loves helping herself to the strawberry patch.
