Have you tried a battery-operated one? I don't have one, but I've seen them on Amazon and other places.

I noticed you mentioned in another post you are in Southern CA. I am, as well, in the Torrance/Redondo Beach area. We finally got our ocean breeze back today, it's been a miserable two weeks with this heat and humidity. smileys/frown.gif

Yup, I live 5 minutes from the Southwest terminal at LAX - you'll know Westchester if you're a Torrance person. Got some breeze AND some nice late afternoon fog to boot. Even the humidity seemed to abate a little today, huh?
