ISO: ISO Chinese Custard Tarts like in SF Chinatown

We have two favorite bakeries there that we get them from and I just tried one recipe off of the internet and so far, not right. This one is more of a traditional pastry crust but the ones we buy are much more like a puff pastry shell I think. Has anyone ever made them and have an authentic recipe for them?
