ISO: ISO chocolate roll out cookie recipe

Howdy, all. I hope you all survived Thanksgiving. I made Meryl's Savory Cheddar Thumbprint Cookies and Loupy's Green Chile Chicken (Turkey) Enchiladas. I love how you all have improved my holidays. smileys/smile.gif

My son wants to make gingerbread boys this year. Only, he doesn't like gingerbread so he wants chocolate boys. Last year, I tried chocolate roll out cookie recipe, but it wasn't very good--tasted like cardboard. I'd like to find something with a rich, chocolate flavor. Does anyone have a T&T recipe for this?

I've made the Penny's version several times - use a high-quality cocoa powder

to get a rich flavor. My DS and I really like these.
