I ordered the one you have and it came, we put it together and put is on high carpet pile. I cannot even push it more than a few swipes. It is tough for my husband to push too. There is no way I could do my whole house. We adjusted the levels and still very hard to push.

Is yours the same way? I am going to take it to a locally owned vacuum repair place to see if it has a broken part or something. The suction is awesome, my carpets had just been vacuumed and it pulled out a huge ball of dirt in just a few swipes.

 
We have no carpeting

only hardwood, tile and low pile room rugs. For us, the medium setting works well on our rugs and low on the other, uncarpeted areas. I'm so sorry.

What I would do is decide if you like the other features of the vac. If yes, then order a 2nd and see if it's possible you got a defective one.

But, if you don't like the other features, return it to Kohl's. I would not spend time/money taking it to be repaired. Colleen

 
We have a mom and pop small appliance and vacuum shop here in town

They will look at it and tell me if there is an issue or not. No charge. If it has an issue, I will take it back. I bought it through Amazon, and can return it easily with free shipping. Thanks.
We did try the vacuum on our hardwood floors and it worked great.
