My large family is finally drawing names this year for the holiday gift giving. The subject "time" has been selected for the theme. I fortunately will buy for someone who loves to cook (although she is getting her PhD and has 2 children in home, so not much time)so I decided to give ti a twist and use thyme, instead of time. The drawing has a limited budget. So far I have purchased a jar of Herbes de Provence from WS and printed up some recipes, but that is not satisfying me! Must have cook book! I have found Ingrid Croce's Thyme in a Bottle used through Amazon. Any info?

Thanks so much in advance.

Hope everyond had a nice holiday!

Try this...

Put "thyme cookbook" in the google search using the parentheses, and it brings up cookbooks with the word thyme in it.

If you like Junior League, I know that the Birmingham chapter put out Seasons in Thyme...

(Birmingham, MI, that is). Also the Williamsport Chapter put out Victorian Thymes and Pleasures. I haven't tried these myself, but both are available at Amazon.

I'll second this one...

I love the way it reads like Barbara - sort of like Susan Branch's books. But I have used the recipes and they were good. Would have to go pull it to remember exactly which recipes but it's a great book.

Denice, What a clever way to purchase gifts...Just curious, how did you select the theme? What

other themes have you done in the past? Sounds like alot of fun!!

Regards,
Barb
