for Westminster and she and her dog just about didn't get to fly home yesterday as most of the flights out were cancelled. I keep forgetting to try my Swedish friend's remedy for the cold weather-hot lemonade with gin. She fixed a big thermos for us one night for a caroling party, and let me tell you, we were happy and warm. Hope you've found something to do if you're still iced in.

 
It's sunny and (wish I could say warm) cold today. Really crisp. The roads are still

pretty iced over and there was an 8 car pile up in the Albany area.
My dear neighbor came over and plowed our driveway and I made it to pt today.
Flood warnings out because of the thawing.
My 90 year old aunt called me and I reminded her it's almost spring. She remended me of the old Polish saying- the translation of which is
"In February- you better have good boots!"
Her way of telling me it's not almost spring smileys/wink.gif)

 
Belgian Sheepdog. This was his 4th year to be invited as one of the top 5 nationally in

the breed. Three years ago he won best of opposite sex, two years ago an award of merit, but sadly nothing this year-he is retiring. My cousin is breeder, owner and handler-she says if she ever wins it big she wants to do it all herself. Her dogs are beautiful and have lovely temperaments. I'm on my second. He is three and a half now. My sweet female lived to fourteen. I lost her a few years ago. Can you tell I'm a Belgian Sheepdog fan?

 
I watched most of that. Now I can't remember what a Bel SD looks like. Have you ever posted

a photo of him/her?

Did we all expect the little beagle to win? What a captivating little guy he is.

Merson Malinois?

If so I have "talked" with her on a dog forum, that would be small world syndrome...!

 
Cousin isn't Merson Malinois. She just has the Belgian Sheepdogs, not the Tervurens or Malinois. I

believe at one time they were all shown in the same category but just different coat types. The B. Sheepdog looks kind of like a solid black collie.
