I used Wondra flour and boiling onions. I added about a quarter cup more milk. I halved the onions lengthwise, separated them and then mixed in the sauce before baking. Forty-five minutes in the oven was right on and they were very tender.
I'm looking forward to having some of the leftovers tonight! Thanks for a keeper Dawn!
