around us, the Thruway is closed and so are 5 and 5s. My backyard is flooded and no end in sight.

If I do go out today it will only be to the lumber store for materials to build an ark.

just a lot of soggy lawns and humid weather.

It's been raining here for 4 or 5 days though, flooding in some areas. We got hit by the east coast remnants of the hurricane I guess. We didn't have any rain until after it started clearing in New York City over the weekend, so we are lucky in that way, but I guess it's getting bad south of us (southern tier of NY and PA) and even as close as Broome and Chenango Counties, and to the east of us (where you are, I think).

Just heard the Thruway had been closed from Syracuse to Albany - reopened now!

I hope you are safely dry and not near any of the floods!
