ISO: ISO: Does anyone have a banana sauce recipe for a 3-layer cake? I'm attempting another

baking project. Next weekend, so I've got plenty of time to experiment. I'm not that fond of banana-flavored anything, but they've requested it. I'd like to reproduce it as close as I can.

We recently had a dessert out, of slices of 3-layer cake (pink, white, chocolate) with cherry (strawberry?) sauce between one of the two layers, and banana sauce between the other two. Frosted in stabilized whipped cream, drizzled with chocolate sauce (icing?), and a cherry and walnut on top. They called it a Black Forest cake, but it's more like a "sundae" cake.

That's it, that's it! Only difference was that they had cherry b/2 of the

layers. Thank you! The pudding mix sounds nice and light.

 
So happy I remembered the recipe book and then finding it on line ... easypeasy! Hope you enjoy it
