ISO: ISO: Gayle MO: Made Grammy's Peach Cobbler to day. YUMMMM

In Search Of:
Hi Misplaced! It's easy and quick and really nice for batter cobbler....

My favorite cobbler is to make crust but I really hate making crust. I'll do it for special occasions but not for every day. Heck - I never even bake anymore so it's a big deal for me to make a batter cobbler! ha

My new son-in-law's bd is coming up on August 2 and he always wants Key Lime Pie so I guess I'd better be getting a bag of limes for that. Michael will be 49 and is not quite 7 years younger than I so we get along really great. He's quite the foodie and I like to cook for him because he appreciates it so much. My daughter rarely cooks. ha She's a good cook but just doesn't like to.

Hope Bob likes the cobbler! I think he will! If I could find decent peaches I'd make another. Our Missouri peaches all got frozen in the late ice storm that hit this spring. Sad.

Enjoy!

Oh, yeah! I thought she was just ISO me because of my DH...

pigging out like he did on it! lol

Sorry, Cheezz! Wasn't trying to take the credit for your recipe. Hope you know that.

Yum on the blueberries!

heehee... pretty soon our entire posts will be shorthand.. ISO... DH... btw... is this a T&T yet??

You know, Curious......

Besides the addition of the brown sugar to the batter, all that butter made it kind of crispy around the bottom and edges and that part was especially wonderful! IMHP (hehe) I dotted butter on top, too. smileys/smile.gif

Somewhere, and I have no idea, a helpful hint when they say to dot with butter,

they mentioned using a cheese grater with the butter. I thought that was a grate idea.
