When you made them with walnuts, did you sub the almond extract with vanilla extract?

I'm starting them now.

I have a tiramisu cake in the oven, although really it's going to be a Kahlua cake, I'm not using the marscapone frosting, I'm just making a Kahlua chocolate glaze.

 
I used Fiori De Sicilia - from King Arthur Flour = delish! `
