My daughter had a market day at her school today and had to hand-make 15 items to sell whether it be culinary or widget for $1 - $2.

We decided to make your Buttercream Chocolate Fudge. Used a flower shaped cutter and sprinkled w/ a sparkly white flakey decoration we found in the cake decorating section. Put 3 pieces in celophane then into a decorative little paper bag. Sold 'em for a buck each.

She said her product the first to sell out and people wanted more. (Of course they did, it was yummy!) Thanks for the recipe. -Tessie

Wow! This is really neat! I'm happy you're happy!

I'm so glad to hear it! How fun for you!

I've been out of town since Thurs for my daughter's wedding. Two weeks ago I went to her house and made the chocolate buttercream fudge and my caramel. We wrapped a piece of each in pink foil candy wrappers, put them into a small satin drawstring bag then put the bag into a beautiful box with bow. These were the table favors last night. Boy, were they a hit! People were going around the tables after dinner looking to scrounge any that were left. smileys/smile.gif

So glad you had great success with your candy venture! I'm forever grateful to the friend who shared the original recipe with me! It works for so many occasions.

Now that the wedding is over I hope to be back with you guys more often!
