it took longer to bake but probably because my oven is really a cheapo (love apartment living!). Despite that it came out perfectly! With a dusting of powered sugar it really hit the spot. I added lemon zest also. I have to say that 4 cups of blueberries are a LOT! It's seriously loaded with fruit, and that is a good thing.

Now the trick is not to eat it all myself.

Heather, So glad you enjoyed the cake, it is a definite keeper! The recipe is Lois Laurence's from

Blueberry Bay Farm, N.H. and I knew it was a winner when I saw the picture in Better Homes & Gardens and have made it numerous times.

oh, thanks for the reminder. DD and hubby are coming for thanksgiving and very picky eaters. this

will do nicely for something not too fancy/not too plain and I have some frozen berries to use up. yay.
