Had this at a 4th of July meal and didn't get to ask the host about the ingredients. I was told by a fellow party goer that the grilled roast was an english cut roast. It evidently had been marinated with yellow mustard and chopped onion.

WB, I haven't heard of this cut, but searches say it is similar to a rump or sirloin roast

I've linked a recipe that marinates the beef in a mustard/cream sauce overnight, but no onions.

For some reason, I keep thinking about North Carolina mustard sauce for BBQ. That would be really good on beef too.

I can't help you with a recipe, but I love Dijon mustard slathered on a roast before

roasting. And welcome!!
