The potatoes come out like little pillows. I've tried every combination of keywords I can think of.

I tried the pop-squished recently and mine didn't look

as good as the picture at all. They sort of fell apart as I squished them. I think next time I would boil them longer. I'd be interested if yours' turned out as nice looking Joe.

I find the red potatoes tend to fall apart when squished this way. Yukon golds

are my go-to potato for this method and seem to hold together better around the edges, though occasionally they will just "break", in which case I just smoosh them back together -- they still taste great. I love these potatoes and prepare them often since I first had them about 4 years ago.
