ISO: ISO: How long will Oreo truffles keep unrefrigerated?

When I make a batch of the truffles, I usually box them up in packages of 8 and 16 and keep them in the freezer until needed. But once refrigerated and/or frozen, as they come to room temp. the truffles get 'wet' from condensation and the whole truffles ends up being messy and soft.

I'm wondering does anyone know how to avoid this? (I think we might have touched on this before in prior discussions?). Any thoughts on how long they would last (without spoiling) if, once made, I let the melted chocolate they are dipped in harden without refrigerating? Do I have to worry about the cream cheese spoiling?

Well they wouldn't last long in my house, but I don't think that's what you're asking? ;o)

But seriously, I'd guess about 2-3 days. Just cover them tightly?
