ISO: ISO: Ice Cream Maker

Hi Everyone,

Wonder if someone could suggest a good ice cream maker. My father is ill and right now can just eat ice cream so we are trying to make a "healthy ice cream" if there is such a thing. I need recipes too if anyone has anything. Thanks so much in advance.

I've heard froma friend folks are happy with their Kitchen ice cream attachment. I use a food

processor with a variety frozen fruit & berries and yogurt, and a packet of vitamin whole foods, delicious.

the other day I used this recipe out of a book and it was wonderful....the recipe was for mango ice cream but you could most anything. they said put 8 oz of frozen mango chunks in the food processor with 5 tbsl of milk, blend. It was delicious. They suggested adding whatever sweetener..I just used a couple drops of stevia

You can add protein powder to smoothies and ice cream mix. Important for healing.

I have a little Cuisinart one that came with two freezer bowls. Ran about $60. Works great!
