I think it was the first volume...a brownie like cake made in a jelly roll pan, then cut to line the bombe that was then filled with chocolate mousse. TDF.

I loaned my copy of the cookbook to someone and of course it is now gone! smileys/irritated.gif Google did not bring up the recipe.

 
It is called Bombe aux Trois Chocolats from JC & More Company

I have made it MANY times- it is a real favorite of mine. It is many pages long and I do not have time to type it out but if nobody else can find it send me a message with a fax number and I will get it to you.

I hope someone posts it, it sounds out so good, I'm about ready to buy a used Julia Child book ...

I searched also for the recipe to no avail. But I did find used Julia Child books for about $2.95.
