last night (see link) and while they have great taste, they are not crisp and are very dry and crumbly. Really can't use them as crackers but the flavor is so good that I don't want to throw them out. So what else to do with them? If they were sweet they could be crumbled on ice cream etc. so I am trying to think of how they could be used. Maybe crumbled on top of tuna casserole or I watched Ina Garten today do a great looking cauliflower gratin. Maybe crumbled on top. Any ideas? They are pretty spicy but we like that. Bummer....These did look like fun! How using them on a salad? OR, Cyn posted a recipe for crab

cakes, I know used it as an inspiration and combined with one on epi. Perhaps could be used instead of the corn flakes to coat the crab cakes. Will look in the archives for the initial recipes

Barb

Wow Barb...a coating for crab cakes is a brilliant idea! I'll try them>>>

tomorrow on our salad but I think they are going to be to crumbly. Well see. Thanks!

Re the Cheese Snips... I made them too and they

turned out great; the guests I served them to asked for the recipe. Wonder what the difference could be? I made them quite thin, and I didn't have time to leave them in the oven for two hours, just cooled them on a rack (didn't read the recipe all the way through!). Sorry yours didn't turn out, some good ideas for using them up though.

The recipe said it makes 16 so from that I dropped them to pretty much match>>>

that. Even then I had more than 16. I was really confused because it said to drop by teaspoon full. Just didn't make sense. Yours were crisp? Well, I love the taste and have gotten great ideas for using them. Very clever people here!

Such great ideas! I have a little bit of grilled salmon left over and I>>>

was going to turn it into a spread for cracker for a snack tonight. I'll roll it and cover with the cracker mixture. Great idea. Thanks

I didn't count how many I had, but I'm pretty sure it was more

than 16. I used the scoop I use for cookies, like an ice cream scoop but smaller. It's a #70, if that means anything, looks like about a tsp., and then flattened them with a fork.

And yes, great ideas for using them up!

wildwoods...I made that salmon cheese ball and then rolled it in the crumbs. Fantastic!>>>

Thanks, and the next time I make crab cakes I'll use it there also. I crumbled all of them and put in a bag in the freezer and will use whenever. Thanks everyone for some great ideas.
