I forgot I have a whole shelf of Sunset recipe annuals ending with 1993. In that particular one I found a recipe for Poached Salmon with Blackberry Cream- is that the one? If so I will type it out for you. If not I will continue to search.

 
In 1990 Sunset annual I found another poached fish with cream sauce recipe

This one is just called Poached Fish with Cream Sauce and is not specific to salmon but suggests it. Poaching liquid has ginger, chicken broth, white wine, butter, shallots in it. After poaching the sauce is made with pan juices and whipping cream reduced down.

Is this one it? Again, if so, I will type it out.
