Two cups of Tomato paste! Isn't that an awful lot? And no chicken livers?

Even a tiny amount gives that special taste.

 
Maybe that is what I'm missing...chicken livers.

As far as tomatoey - I'm searching for a tomatoey one, so this may be the ticket.
