I made this yesterday to take to a friends house for dinner. IT IS FABULOUS! Everyone loved it. The buttermilk in the batter makes it so tender. It looks impressive and tastes impressive. I served it with apple cider sorbet (this time without the egg whites). What a perfect fall dessert. I think I may need to make another and bring some to my apple man at the farmers market. Lorijean, thanks very much for posting, this goes in my permanent folder!
Cheezz, you mentioned cupcakes, would you make them just like the cake, upside down I mean? Would you use regular tins or maybe the mini bundt ones?
