How are your travel plans going?......I am so spending all my spare time planing for a non-existant trip LOL....these last 3 weeks ALL my children have been/still are traveling. One couple flew from here to Paris/Italy by car/ Monaco and back (we got the grandies for 10 days)

One has done a month from here.....Venice/Antibe/Geneva/Monaco/Paris/ Lugano, Italy/back to Geneva and back to Paris.

One couple are doing Paris/Geneva by train/back to Paris....and they all have met up for a night or two more than once....these young get to travel so much more than I ever did, lucky sprogs!!!!

right now, I'm seriously bummed.

Thursday night, "the powers that be" at work put out a warning that the confirmation trip to UK may be cancelled. We're having problems with one of the commercial products used to support our developed software. If THAT product can't compile and display the results from OUR product, our company is not going to test this before the customer (UK MOD) until the problem is fixed.

So, while we're all still moving ahead as if the Go Date is Oct 16, I'm REALLY unsure what to do about mine and Larry's vacation plans that were to follow immediately afterward (Oct 30 to Nov 13). My company pays full rates, so it can get back plane tickets, rooms, etc. But Larry's already bought a $900 plane ticket that non-refundable. And I don't know if I should still go ahead with our vacation plans because the test may just be delayed, not canceled. In which case, I'd be toddling around London and Cambridge, when I would be needed for the confirmation test.

I have UK maps all over the dining room table, books everywhere and notes from you, Sandra and everyone else who has kindly provided suggestions.

I'm so very disappointed right now. {My coworker who is to go over and test with me has started to take ulcer medication due to the stress!)

 
Ah Mar! not happy cmapers at all....however you do need to take the well deserved break.....

but it appears to be Larry may just go on his own and you later...NO, THAT wont work. This delema I know so well living here. BUT you will get a trip to the UK soooner than later, it is on the cards. smileys/smile.gif and dont get too stressed.
