ISO: ISO MarilynFL.....Have you seen this Melissa Weller Chocolate Babka - The

In Search Of:
I made chocolate Bapka last weekend using the recipe and instructions

in Melissa Clark;s video on the New York Times. It was a production but a lot of fun and it came out beautifully. Looked just like her finished product if I say so myself. I had some chocolate which I had brought back from Switzerland. The only thing I would do differently in the future is omit the streusal. It is very messy and gets all over the kitchen counter and floor when cutting. Good without it. If I knew how to post pictures on this site I would. Next try for me is the cinnamon one. Also the Washington Post had a recipe from a Montreal bakery than makes a more dense loaf because it has no rising. The dough needs to be rolled very thin though which would be tough.

Janet, I'll be swinging by...oh, give me a few minutes to put on my eyebrows. To post

a link to a photo:

1. Go to Photobucket.com
2. Log in as: Finer {insert an underscore} Kitchens
3. Then use Thanks {insert an underscore} Mimi
4. Upload your photo. It you don't select a folder, it defaults to the top level (Finer_Kitchen). If you want to keep all of your photos together, create a new folder with your name, select that and then upload your photo into that folder.
5.Once loaded, Photobucket will list four hyperlinks:
DIRECT
HTML
IMAGE
IMAGE THUMB

I copy the DIRECT hyperlink and paste it into the LINK URL field below. With the internal software changes we've had here, I no longer know how to get a photo to open up inside the thread. Nor does IMAGE URL seem to work for me.

You'll get a LINK next to your post that will open up Photobucket to your photograph.

I think.

I'm writing this from memory so try it out and see if it works.

Thanks Marilyn! I'm working out of town today but will try this tomorrow. Now you can tell me how

to install the Avira protection that I just bought smileys/smile.gif) Downloaded but I don't see how to install it. A computer clutz here.

Mostly I'd expect to hit the download button or insert the CD and it will walk you through it.

Go to your downloads -- on a PC running FF there is an arrow on your menu bar across the top on the right. Click that to find your recent downloads (or do a search to find it) and double click the name of what you want to open. Then some box will come up and ask if you want to run X program you want to install, say yes and it will walk you through the rest. It's been too long since a used a Mac to walk you through it, but it's basically the same: find the download, open it, agree to run the install, then let it walk you through installing it.
