So...I made the butter/cream cheese/marshmallow version and added

1/4 cup strawberry puree to part of it. I was underwhelmed with the uniqueness of it. The plain part I refrigerated separated and looked yuck. The part I added strawberries to was very soft and I was afraid it would just fall off the cupcakes but, surprisingly, it held well. The color was very pretty. It never gets firmer - at all - or crusts (which I didn't expect it to). It was gooey and messy so the kids loved it. I won't make it again. I had bought 2 jars of the marshmallow goo so I will make the original recipe at some point, just to try it.
