I'm taking an impromptu trip to visit family and am flying into and out of DAL. My flight leaves Sat at 2pm. I am planning on leaving Oklahoma extra early and I should have time for lunch if I have no issues on the drive.

Can you recommend a restaurant near DAL, preferably to the north of the airport.

 
Thanks, too far from DAL but I'll make a note for a future trip.

 
Unfortunately I am not familiar with that area-long ways from my house

I'd try doing a Google Map of DFW Airport and then clicking on "Search Nearby" for restaurant and see if any of those options appeal to you.

 
DAL=Love Field, in case you are more familiar with that area.

I probably will google but I always prefer a personal recommendation. I will be driving back to OK on Thursday, via AceMart and Homegoods!

I have a sushi restaurant in Ardmore picked out for dinner on the way home.

 
Oh yes, right around the corner from my office. My favorite Tex Mex place is close

Herrera's Cafe on Maple Ave. Don't go to the one on Denton Drive. (They are both close but owned by different families).

I always get Rupert's plate and stagger home. Actually, I usually make two meals of it.
