Well, I begged Cyn for a hint, and she PM'd me back and said it's African and needs lots of water -

The only thing I could find on the Internet that matches the description is an African violet. Is there such a thing as an African violet with a chocolate filling? Ha.

 
Mailed it this afternoon, Meryl- you should receive it by Friday. After all this hype I'm afraid

you'll be disappointed. It's just a little something but immediately thought of you! It's kind of brownish......and it's not one of the ones that's alive.

 
Cyn, I received your gift today (I sent you a PM earlier). It's fantastic! For those who guessed,

cheezz was the closest. It's an adorable ceramic hippo with a really cute face, and on the body, it says " Forget love, I'd rather fall in chocolate." It can be used as a magnet or can be hung up. I now have it right on my refrigerator. It's soooo cute! And a really nice card came with it. Thanks, Cyn!!!
