had the bowls, double boiler, thermometer etc. ready, but first I had to reheat the stuff over hot water to de-congeal. It melted and I stirred and it came together magically as soon as the temp hit the 90's. No need for any further treatment!

I will keep the procedure in my notes for future reference--thanks--but in this case all it needed was chilling, then reheating and stirring over low heat.

I'm so glad all that chocolate isn't wasted.
