DH and 5yo DD loved it! I hate to admit using Hillshire Farms Beef Sausage, but it was in the freezer. It brought a bit too much salt to the broth, so next time I will either choose a different (read "better") sausage, or reduce the broth:water ratio.

I put a dollop of sour cream on mine, poured a bit of mild into DD's and husband opted out of both.

It is really a great recipe - very flavorable! Thanks again!
