I have a new online friend who is bemoaning the fact that Chilis is her only option, and I guess that if anyone knew differently it would be *you*!!

The first to come to mind is Two Senoritas in downtown Sarasota.

Heather, there's a place on N. Washington Blvd, Taqueria Aguascalientes. I've only had take-out

tamales from there, but they're so good. They have a big take-out business, but also a full menu for eating in. The downside is it's in a rough neighborhood, I'd check it out during daylight hours, at least the first time.

I've also heard good things about El Toro Bravo, but haven't been there.
