ISO: iso michael in sarasota re pear cardamom vinegar

Hi I have been a lurker on this board for many a year. there was finally a recipe that brought me out of hiding. Awhile back there was a post about a berry vinegar from Kathy Casey. You responded that the pear cardamom version looked intriguing. Did you ever make it? I am having problems on deciding the quantities of pears and cardamom. Would you still add the salt? Any help from anyone would be appreciated. I would like to make this as a Christmas gift for my Dad who LOVES cardamom. TIA

 
Hi, cloudysmom! I haven't made the vinegar but I would use the

same amount as for berries and a tablespoon of cardamom pods crushed.

Better yet, do as Curious1 suggests and send an email.
