I know you use all butter - do the tops crackle like the traditional 'all shortening' recipe

 
Thanks, Michael. We did the 3/4 butter to 1/4 shortening and they were really good

We found out the results were better to thoroughly chill the cookie balls before baking though. They spread a lot more than the all-shortening version.
