laur came home from dinner with a friend bearing a doggie bagful of a wondrous dish that she wanted me to recreate. it was red snapper with tomatoes, olives, onions and capers and baby serranos.
at the puter, i checked for randi's last post cause she's been sparce lately and i wanted to know whether to check up with her to see if she was ok. i did. she is.
2 threads down and found the Huachinango a la Veracruzana- Red Snapper with a Spicy Red Sauce that michael had posted. i figured, "what the foot - i gotta start somewhere". What a serendip. it was almost exactly what i was looking for.
so thanks michael for answering my request before i knew i was gonna make it.
