Mimi, back a few posts you posted your recipe for tiramisu form a chef friend of yours, and Randi, you said you had the same one, except for the liquor...

In the posted recipe it reads:

120 ml sugar

Should that be 120 grams sugar? or is the recipe using glucose or liquid sugar? Sorry, but need the clarification before I multiply it by 6!

Thanks and g'day!

hola Sandra, I'm not home but I would assume that it is grams. it is regular

sugar. and you my dear, are an excellent chef, measure out in grams and add and taste. I'm sure it will turn out wonderful.

let us know how the lunch goes. what a lovely gift to give to a new friend!

Thanks ladies!

As it was a "chef" recipe I wasn't sure, sometimes it's sugar syrup, so had to make sure -

I hate making desserts!

Randi, these are actually friends fromw waaay back, the husband came from Australia to work in NY when were still living there in the 90's, we got married 2 weeks apart from each other, the wife and I went together to Kleinfeld's to get our wedding dresses! Then we moved to London in the late 90's and they followed 2 years later - then in early 00 they moved back to Australia and now we followed! It's great to reconnect over here with them...

Will post results of the tiramisu
