I tried to post about a roasted veggie dip over on EPI
but had no success. Alton Brown on the FoodTV site has a great roasted veggie dip but for the life of me I can't find it. It was basically zucchini, onion, red pepper and garlic(or other veggies of choice) coated in olive oil and roasted in the oven. Then put the whole thing in a food processor with a few packages of cream cheese and give it a whirl. Add salt/pepper/herbs to taste. It's really good and so easy and makes the house smell scrumptious.
YES!! This is the one, and it's so good. How on earth did
you find it? I tried and tried to find the episode it would be in, and I just couldn't find it. I wish they had a search by recipe, not by program and episode.
HiAng. I found it by breaking the search down into parts. First I searched on
"cream cheese" and then when those results came up, in the box that reads "Too many results? Refine your search here" I entered "zucchini" and then saw Alton Brown's recipe as one of the results.
I hope that helps you in future searches there. If not, let me know and I'll be happy to assist you.
OPPS! I keep hitting the wrong key!!! You have to look (m)
around as the layout is rather scattered, but as far as I could see they do have all the most important spices plus some I was not familiar with. If you have any questions, the girls that work there are very helpful, rather unusual for a Scottsdale store!!! Hope you get a chance to go there soon and will be happy with your trip.
Let me know how it goes.
