do you simply put the frozen ravioli in a baking dish, top with sauce and bake. For how long and a what temp?

Thanks

Until she answers, that is what I do. I only buy frozen ravioli that has a recipe on the bag for

baking. I did it with one that didn't have that option one time, results were not good. Sort of gluey. I buy the ravioli at Sam's club or Costco. Put a layer of ravioli in a baking dish, top with a bit of sauce, another layer of ravioli and cover with sauce. Cover the dish and bake at 350 until it's bubbly and heated through. I like to remove the cover, top with some parm and cook for another few minutes.

Now if you want a recipe for the ravioli baked with spinach and mozzarella ala lasagna, let me know.

I've only used this method with fresh, never frozen ravioli. I think if you're using frozen

they would have to be completely defrosted before baking to achieve the result.

Put a thin layer of sauce in the bottom of the pan, then tuck a dozen into the smallest pan you can without having them overlapping. Cover with foil and cut a few slits in the foil to allow for steam to escape. I bake at 350 for 45-60 mins.

oops, cover the raviolis with sauce, then cover pan with foil! (no coffee yet smileys/frown.gif

No, you do it with frozen. I usually layer with sauce , bake 40 min or so. Here's a recipe...

I usually use just ravioli and sauce, but I've made this one using spinach, sauce and mozzarella. This recipe was in Real Simple magazine.
