She's very positive....
She just got back home last night from Shepard Center for Spinal Injuries in Atlanta. She's very positive and isn't giving up hope of one day walking and believes this all happened for a reason. Here's a quote from a recent interview to give you an idea of her outlook: "In my mind, I have no choice. Some people may be angry. But it's a way of life, and it's going to be my way of life. I'm alive, and so are my children. That's what counts."
That I know of, no word on whether they are being selected for EMHE but they are crazy if they don't select them. It's absolutely amazing how people all over the country have heard about it and signed the petition and done things for them. Local groups have donated profits from soccer tournaments, done car washes, held garage sales, you name it. I guess that we all understand that courage of a mother and it touches everyone.
