ISO: ISO: Need help to convert dried mushrooms

I have a recipe that calls for one pound fresh mushrooms, but I just bought a ton of dried mushrooms ad I really want to use these. How much dried mushrooms do I need to get the equivalent of one pound fresh?

According to a couple of sites on the internet, 1 ounce dried is equal to approx 1/2 lb fresh. Here

1 oz of reconstituted mushrooms equal 7 oz fresh Shiitake mushrooms

The previous Joy of Cooking says 3 oz. dried = 1 lb ... close enough to the above.
