It is so pretty and very good. Nice and moist and it gets better everyday. I keep thinking it needs a "pop" of flavor in there somewhere, but I am in love with the layers of flavors it already has, the lemon zest and goat cheese are wonderful. It also has a nice crust.

I warm it just a bit in the microwave, and one time I put a light coating of cream cheese, which was lovely.

I want to make it again and try some Grains of Paradise in place of the pepper.

Humm, I don't think too thin, because it tends to crumble a little.

I sliced it about the same as regular sandwich bread, then zapped in the microwave just a few seconds to take the chill from the fridge off. It crumbles off into large pieces if you do it thinner.

I appreciate your feedback!

I now have all of the ingredients to make this bread so I'll give it a try over the weekend and see. Even if it could act as sandwich bread, I don't know if we will want to use it as that. Trying to "enjoy but eat less," I'm hoping for a 1/2 sandwich/fascinating-quick-bread/sort-of-dessert impact from using 1 slice. Thank-you for your help! Colleen
