We just returned from 2 weeks in Portugal and my husband is craving the simple grilled chicken that was available all over the country. I asked one of the waiters how it was made and he said he didn't know the ingredients, but the cook was brazilian and she made the marinade. It was grilled over (I think) charcoal. They also used "Baby" chickens, I have no idea where to get a baby chicken, maybe it's just a small chicken? Also, it may have used Piri-piri sauce (a hot sauce)
I'm in Denver, I don't think there's a large portuguese population here, so I don't think I can get the piri-piri sauce here.
Anyway, if anyone could figure this out it would be one of you, I'm always amazed at the breadth of experience and knowledge on this board!
