ISO: ISO Quick question about making a tunnel Bundt cake

I searched for directions on how to make a Bundt cake with 2 different colors of batter, but only found recipes for gooey fillings (i.e., Tunnel of Fudge, Almont Joy, etc.). Either that, or some recipes said to use a tunnel insert.

There must be a way to do a simple 2-batter Bundt cake, but I'm not sure how to get the inside batter centered, and not just looking like a line. I know if I had an insert it would be "perfect" but I don't care about perfect, just something close to what I have in mind. Has anyone ever done any of these? I was thinking orangewith a chocolate tunnel for the Halloween bake sales coming up. Thanks for any thoughts.

Looking at a two-tone bundt recipe I found, I think you could do it as follows:

Reserve 1 C. of chocolate batter and place remainder chocolate batter in bundt pan.

Pour 1 C. orange tinted batter over the chocolate, being careful not to touch the edges of the pan.

Cover orange batter with remaining chocolate batter and spread carefully to cover.

Bake as directed.

I thought about doing it that way but I wasn't sure the orange batter would puff

up into a "round" but just be like a little layer of orange. But then again I guess it would rise as much as the chocolate, so it should come out ok. I'll do a test run, which the kids will love. Maybe they can take it to school next week. Thanks for suggesting.
