I like mashed potatoes to be smooth in texture so I think I need a food mill (the ricer is too tough to squeeze a whole pot of boiled potatoes, imo). I'm interested in brands that work well (preferably under $40). I checked Amazon and saw some favorable comments about the Mirro/Foley 3.5 qt and the Wear Ever 3.5 Qt. I've never had one so I'd be interested in opinions. Thanks. Ann

I have one similar to the Mirro/Foley 3.5 qt one and I really like it.

But then again, how different can they be? Geesh, some of them are expensive, though.
