Did you make this the day of or the night before?

I am having last minute guests for dessert tomorrow night and have no time to make anything except what I can whip up tonight.

Was wondering since you brought this to your reunion if you had made it that AM or night before, or a combo of both?

No, I made it for dinner last week..

right before dinner so it was served warm. It's best that way. I made chess pies to transport to the reunion. Link to Recipe above.

back to the house for dessert, so it doesn't sound like it would work.

could she make up the batter and the topping the night before, then put the topping on and pour the

boiled liquid over and bake when she gets home?
