The cookies were delicious with tea after our dinner last night.

I wish I had a trick though, in making them so they all turned out perfectly round. oh well, i guess imperfections...are what makes each cookie special. smileys/wink.gif

 
I had this same problem starburst. Practice will make perfect, and friends will be happy

I did try to coax them into circles while still hot just out of the oven. Mine were more like ovals, but delish just the same. I'm buying a small scoop like Sandi suggested in my post awhile back. I also found that chilling the batter a bit helped.

As I mentioned to Ang, I've always used a tiny cookie scoop that measures exactly 1 teaspoon to scoop the dough.

It is really soft and runny - I wonder if you could pipe it with a ziplog bag with a cutout hole small enough to let the oats through, if you don't have a scoop.....
