I found this site today:

www.herbchef.com

for fresh herbs by mail order. These folks are at my local farmers' market every week but this is the first time I used their website. I need lots of sorrel next week for the salmon/sorrel tarts we were discussing at post #202. (Here's that link)

I just ordered 6 9-oz bunches for $9.00, plus another $9.00 shipping. Not too bad for 5 tarts' worth.

CORRECTION: THE BUNCHES ARE ABOUT 3 OZ. MY MATH WAS OFF.

Looks like a good resource for when you need a lot of fresh herbs at once.

You're all very welcome I should have waited until I received my order to post it, >

but I was too excited.

Sandy, you may have to start with a quadruple recipe, to justfiy the $9.00 shipping >>

Can you swing that much free salmon?

Oops, the site say 0.06 lb., but the bunches are about 3 oz. It did seem too good to be true.
