ISO: ISO small chocolate cake recipe

My son (almost 4) has requested that we bake a chocolate cake together tomorrow night. Does anyone have a recipe for a good chocolate cake that isn't multiple layers? Either one that would fit a 9X13 pan or something smaller.

this Wacky Cake in T&T is very fun to make with kids. super easy

and tastes great. I just made one last weekend and iced it with a homemade Pecan/coconut icing.

Amanda, when searching for small cakes know that many single layer

eight or nine inch cakes are referred to as "snack cakes". A regular full size (normally 2 layer) is baked in a 13 x 9.
