When I worked retail last year at SurLaTable they had a huge variety

of wooden spoons, many of them handcrafted. Some were lovely rainbow-type colored. Happen to be going there today and will check out the brands.

I'm pleased with the wooden salad server "hands" that I found

from a Google search. They came from New Zealand Nature Company. I don't know if they make spoons. You can order a catalog at http://www.nznature.co.nz/catalogue.htm

I like them better than the ones my friend got in AK and, even with air freight and currency exchange charge (25 cents), they were less than those from AK.
