i've been waiting since the middle of july to find out whether or not the abnormal cells detected on a routine pap were actually cancer. it took a month & a half to have the biopsies done, then another 3 weeks to get those results (the downside of universal health care.........). got the news yesterday that the results were normal, but now have to have exams every 6 months to monitor the cells.

relieving news, but those cells will always be in the back of my mind! smileys/frown.gif

Wow - that's wonderful Michelle! had the same experience

but they had to do the procedure where they freeze off a layer or two of the apparatus down there to get rid of the abnormal ones, not fun but it's been 17 years and no problems! But I always think about it so I'm very careful about getting the exams on time.

!!!

Good news, Michelle! Ii made some pear butter a few years ago and for some reason

added a bit of ground fenugreek. It was a wonderful flavor addition to the mild pear taste!
